Nike Air Max is still celebrating its 35th anniversary, and some of its most popular styles from the past keep coming back in new, interesting ways. As an example: A Nike Air Max 90 was made ready for a collection that seems to be about money.
Crinkled leather and strong canvas make the design stand out
Like a recent version of Peter Moore’s Dunk Low, the sock-liner of the upcoming Air Max has “NIKE” logos that look like the denominations of U.S. bills. The rest of the outfit, which was designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1990, has a familiar layout, but there are special touches like crinkled leather and strong canvas. The upper and bottom halves of the sneaker are made up of a mix of off-white, bright red, rich yellow, and dark black, with most of the bottom half going for a simple look.
A big part of the Air Max 90’s redesign is the use of high-quality materials. Putting such high-quality materials on a runner without reducing its technology makes it a major piece of athletic footwear that is worth the higher price.crinkled leather and strong canvas
