Most people know about Dunks and Air Force 1s, but there’s another shoe from the 1980s that should be on that “Mount Rushmore” of Nike basketball shoes. The Nike Terminator High was one of the first “Be True” shoes to come out in 1985. It will be back in 2022 in a bunch of original colorways.
Soft leather gives the sneaker comfort, style, and durability
The Georgetown color scheme is navy blue and light gray, which can be seen here in official photos. This is a college color scheme that has stood out for decades. This model seems to be made with the same soft leather that was used for the Dunk Retro drops. The shape and silhouette are also the same as the OG. The big NIKE banner on the heel, which is probably the most recognizable part of the Terminator, hasn’t changed at all.
The Georgetown colorway of the Nike Terminator High top is another example of how Nike doesn’t forget about classic shoes and brings them back for new generations. This is also a fun way to honor one of the best teams Nike has ever sponsored.
