The Nike Air Max Plus is only a month and a half away from its 25th anniversary, so it’s expected to return next year in a variety of styles.
The classic details let the color scheme take center stage
A design by Sean McDowell has recently surfaced in a color scheme consisting of blue and yellow, which is reminiscent to its first ensemble. The majority of the mesh upper is white, but the Tuned Air-cushioned model’s characteristic gradient finish adds a vivid blue to the mix. The profile swooshes and whale tail-shaped mid-foot shanks are animated by vibrant yellow, which complements the traditional look of the “TN” insignia. Sole units follow suit, with noticeable Air Max bubbles at the forefoot choosing for the yellow swoosh flair. Finally, waffle-patterned traction shines in a sky-blue hue.
This colorway may differ from the original, but it’s apparent that the spirit of its forefathers has carried on. If you come across this Air Max Plus, we think you’ll agree it’s worth a second look. Be sure to look for it soon
