Even though it was shown off in April, the Air Force 1 “Mama” didn’t come out until June. And since official photos of the pack’s Air Max 90 just came out, it’s likely that this pair won’t be on sale for a while.
The “Mama” version is undeniably softer and more feminine
Aside from a few details, the Bruce Kilgore-designed Air Max 90 and the “Mama” version are very different. First of all, the colorway is almost entirely different. While the base, laces, and midsole are white, the rest of the shoe is made of different shades of cream. Also, the “Air Max” and “Nike Air” logos, as well as the “pops” of blue around them, draw attention to themselves. Even the charm on the Air Force 1 has been changed, with silver hardware and the word “MAMA” written on it instead of “MINI.”
