In terms of color blocking, this newly-released Jordan Zion 2 is similar to the Duke Blue Devils-inspired pair, but it substitutes many of its overlays with suede. The brushed material has a rich red finish that matches not only the neighboring mesh inserts but also the branding embossed on the strap, insole, tongue, and heel. Underfoot, gum bottoms are the ideal complement, while the rest of the construction — from the midsole to the collar — contrasts in a more neutral, blacked out finish.
