While Jordan Brand’s hybrid shapes continue to spark heated controversy, the Beaverton brand stays committed to creating OG nods and newly coordinated color palettes, such as the Jordan Dub Zero’s latest “Black/Khaki” combo.

The shoe’s new colorway is chic and modern
A majority of the mid-top silhouette’s real estate indulges in a clad-black upper, just like its Valentine’s Day color blocking alternatives did. The dark look comes from the construction of the tongue, the smooth leather mudguard, and the laser-etched side panel. The heel and sectioned midsole also contribute to the look. With the exception of its ice blue hues centered beneath a blinding white cushioning system, “Khaki” colors rarely enhance the monochrome effort around the pair’s sock liner, midsole, rear pull tab, and lower heel counter logo.

Conclusion
Even though this pair’s tonal color blocking isn’t as unique or desirable as that of other Air Jordans, it is still of high quality and could be a good addition to the rotation in certain situations. It’s even more so for those who are looking for an alternative to the “Khaki” colorway.
