Few models have come back as strongly as the Nike Air More Uptempo. It has a lot of different colorways to go with the bright colors of Summer. As the sun sets earlier and earlier, The Swoosh is already working on Fall-ready styles of the Scottie Pippen-endorsed sneaker, which will come out in a white and black color scheme.
The Swoosh added a high-end look to the classic model
Graffiti-style “AIR” branding from the 1990s shows off the fresh snow color, and black suede panels in between the lettering create a zebra-striped pattern on the upper and along the midsole. The upper back tab, mesh tongue, and laces all have the same night sky color as the upper, while the vamp, upper tongue branding, and heel counter have the opposite color. The muted back and forth between opposing tones is broken up by the color “Cobalt Bliss,” which runs along the edge of the “AIR” letters and fills in the embossed Swoosh on the counters and the outsoles, while “Royal Blue” covers the insoles.
Even though the “Cobalt Bliss” colorway looks great, Nike has made a shoe that is both simple and complicated at the same time. It will be interesting to see if this pack includes other lifestyle Air Max models or if Nike keeps the rest of the line with the uptempo.
