Nike’s retro-inspired “Split” design, which splits its silhouette down the middle, is expected to land on the Air Force 1 Low after denoting a plethora of constructions across Jordan Brand’s goods.

The leather construction adds a premium touch to the timeless AF1 shape
A neutral greyscale effort envelops the cracked leather overlays while crisp white leathers treat the foundation layer in the only two unmodified embellishments, delivering split-blocked treads, midfoot Swooshes, tongue tabs, and insole branding. Harkening back to the Air Jordan 3’s 80s-inspired “Lucky Green” eyelets, different washes of color flip the midfoot Swooshes in a black and grey pattern, while the tongue tab offers a mix of old-school and current branding that continues along the insoles. In conclusion, a permanent split arrangement outfits the changing grey tread underfoot, which is coated in a vintage-hued cream.

Summary
The Air Force 1 was getting a makeover, with Nike delivering a completely new design for the shoe. With this latest design, Nike continues to push the boundaries of what an Air Force 1 can be, and we hope to see more of such daring concepts in the future, whether from this team or another.
