Jordan Brand has created their own plans for a number of celebrations IN 2023, especially the Air Jordan 7’s 25th year in rotation. As the silhouette expanded its in-line offerings with OG “Cardinal” colors and Trophy Room collaborations, the company is now leveraging the model most associated with Jordan’s second title for a youth-exclusive effort with a concealed palette of purples.
Tumbled leather and mesh enhance the shoe’s function and style
The upper, like that of its impending “Chambray” offering, harkens a near-clad black effort via tumbled leather overlays and perforated panels, extending its murky ensemble across the tongue’s mesh construction, laces, and rear pull tabs. In contrast to the darker suede used for the latter construction, the entire surface of the upper has been given a stitched “Rush Fuchsia” accent, which complements the additional logo branding that has been added along the tongue and heel. The pair of light and lively purples outfit the midsole in a lasting form underfoot, and a second titular accent is introduced along the sock liner and tongue trim for a raucous, tucked-away finish.

The Air Jordan 7 has long been one of the most popular Air Jordan shapes, but this “Rush Fuchsia” colorway may be the greatest ever. The color pattern and visible stitching throughout the shoe elevate these two new AJ7 shades to some of Jordan Brand’s best offerings in a long time.
