The adidas Yeezy Knit BSKTBL “Onyx” is yet another all-black Yeezy. It looks like Jay-Z knew almost a decade ago that Ye’s favorite colors would be black and white.
This shoe is a great way to add a sporty touch to your outfit
The silhouette is based on parts of the original Yeezy basketball shoe, the YZY QNTM. It has a black 3D knit upper with dark grey accents. There is also a 3M reflective knit on the toe, which moves up the tongue of neoprene and the black rope laces. The knit upper forms eyestays that go up the sock-like bootie to give extra lockdown support. The heel and forefoot are also padded on the inside. Along the side, the same knit pattern seen on the 350 V2 CMPCT shoots up from the midsole and back towards the 3M heel counter. In terms of the midsole, the full-length boost cushioning system is wrapped in a semi-translucent rubber, and the outsole is made of black rubber with a herringbone pattern for grip.
Well, it looks like the YZY BSKTBL KNIT is finally getting the love it’s always deserved. This is great news for anyone who has been waiting for “Onyx” to get a new look. Adidas’s decision to re-release the shoe could be a very smart move that gets a lot of people excited about it.
