Nike SB releases are great, but when there’s a collaboration, the hype doubles, and this new version doesn’t seem to be any different. FAUST, a graffiti artist from New York City, will be up next with his own version, which is a sneaker made of durable suede and tumbled leather.
Difference for the shoe is the scripted writing
The shoe has a dark black suede base with tumbled leather overlays that match. As part of his street art vision, he embroidered scripted writing on the outside and inside in either gold or black. The insoles say “Sell Your Soul” and “Sell Your Sole,” and there is a hidden message that says “The Devil is in the Details” on the airbag unit. The design is finished off with a black midsole and outsole, as well as a black lacing system that matches the rest of the shoe.
If you like Faust, you should put the Nike SB Dunk High at the top of your list of things you want. Recently, the artist’s work has been shown in galleries and exhibitions all over the world, and many collectors think of his shoes as works of art as well as cool kicks.
