Jordan Brand has a busy Spring 2023 agenda, releasing some cherished classic styles in new ensembles. Ahead of the warmer, rainier months, the NIKE, Inc. subsidiary has launched another seasonal offering: an Air Jordan 1 Elevate in “Atmosphere,” “Steel Grey,” and “Guava Ice” colors.
Hairy suede gives support and structure while staying smooth to the touch
The unreleased concept is a fashion-forward take on the original Air Jordan 1 Low from 1985, with an extended sole unit that lifts users above where a typical pair would (thus the model’s name). Hairy suede covers the upper, with underlays visible at the toe and mid-foot, opting for an off-white aesthetic that allows the tiniest contrast to shine. Panels around the forefoot, around the tongue, and throughout the heel are divvied up in a subdued but eye-catching pink and purplish grey flair, with the former also animating the redesigned traction underfoot. Each of the aforementioned elements contributes to the creation of a new Air Jordan product.
